Ms. Asha Bakari
I take this opportunity to welcome you to our Institute website www.sialatech.ac.ke. Siala Technical Training Institute is a registered TVET Institution and a center of excellence in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. To this end we have state of the art equipment for Mechanical and Automotive Engineering respectively.
We are a fast growing Institute and located within the environs of Rongo town. We are humbled to have been identified to host an E-pivot program being sponsored by donors from the Netherlands and Meru University of Science and Technology as our partners.
Our programs are quite competitive and modeled to reflect the needs of industry in particular and the wider job market in general. In particular, our programs are examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) but we are progressively moving towards Competence Based Education and Training (CBET) examined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) and TVET-CDACC.
We have a well-trained, young, vibrant and dedicated workforce. We are out on our feet to grow to the level of a National Polytechnic in Migori County.

Our programs are tailored to equip learners with practical skills that will enable them to be useful citizens.
We offer courses in the following disciplines: Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Building and Civil Engineering, Business, Institutional Management and Agriculture.
We have qualified and very dedicated members of staff in the various areas of study. Our Trainers are enthusiastic and dedicated to ensure that our learners are prepared adequately to face the world of business and corporate world in a unique manner.
